The Second Annual California State Fair Youth Mariachi Competition was truly extraordinary! Ten teams of talented young musicians from across the state put on an unforgettable show to a completely packed house! We are grateful to all the incredible performers who made this year such a spectacular event!
This year’s winners are:
2019 – 1st place & $5,000 prize – Mariachi Tesoro de San Fernando (Los Angeles County)
2019 – 2nd place & $3,000 prize – Mariachi Chavez Juvenil (San Joaquin County)
2019 – 3rd place & $2,000 prize – Mariachi Academy of Music Los Toritos (Santa Clara)
