The mission of the Friends of the California State Fair is to promote public awareness and generate support for California Exposition & State Fair. As a charitable nonprofit volunteer organization, members serve as ambassadors of the California State Fair.
By getting involved as a Friend of the Fair, you can meet outgoing, fun-loving people, volunteer for interesting activities year-round and help support the biggest entertainment event in Northern California.
In the spring and fall, members of the organization assist with Cal Expo’s award-winning demonstration Farm, helping young people learn more about agriculture. Members are also passionate about raising funds for the prestigious Friends of the California State Fair Scholarship Program.
The Friends of the Fair host an annual picnic and Christmas party and support the State Fair Gala. If you are interested in being part of this dynamic organization, please submit a completed application form to the Friends of the California State Fair.
