Being a demonstrator at the California State Fair for California Crafts, Student Showcase, Fine Art, or Photography is an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills and engage with Fairgoers.

As a demonstrator, you will have the chance to share your knowledge and expertise with visitors and educate them about your craft. This is also a great platform to network with fellow artists and enthusiasts, and display your work. If you’re passionate about your craft and love sharing it with others, consider becoming a demonstrator at the California State Fair and make a lasting impression on hundreds of thousands of visitors!

The Demonstrator Program strives to offer Fair visitors a variety of interesting and engaging demonstrations throughout the 17 days of the fair. We prefer that demonstration participation last a minimum of two consecutive days and can last up to 17 days.

Information & Application

Applications are reviewed and approved by State Fair staff. Dates are awarded the first-come-first-serve basis. Should you be accepted to participate, your information may be included in our marketing campaigns.

Booth space is booked by the day, July 12 – 28, 2024.

All demonstration space is indoors, air-conditioning, strategically placed in the center of the statewide exhibit of featured competition winners. Dimensions vary per building. Included with participation: wall space for display, electrical outlet, 8-ft table(s), admission tickets, and parking (credentials) as deemed appropriate.

Applications due by June 5, 2024.
