Farm Tours

What will Students Learn?
Students grades K-6 will enjoy a 1.5-2 hour tour of the California State Fair Farm’s crops and interactive stations. Primarily focused on 3rd and 4th grade curriculum, the tour will highlight California agriculture, seeds, crop growing, innovations in farming, soil and worm composting, and tasting farm fresh produce.

The California State Fair Farm is an essential part of mobilizing interest for young minds to pursue a career in agriculture and to further contribute to our bountiful state and sustain the industry.

California Forest Center Tour

Enhance your Farm Tour with a California Forest Center Tour. Take a walk in the woods and experience the one-acre forest dedicated to educating Californians about the many benefits of the forests and the value of trees in our everyday lives.

In this 1-hour tour, students will learn how trees provide us with clean air and water, wildlife habitat, and much needed wood products. Learn more here.
