Russell Fairchild resides in Lampasas, TX and has been raising Texas Longhorn cattle since he was 7 years old. He began his judging experience in 4-H & FFA and landed his first judging job at age 18. He has judged longhorn cattle for 35 years, and for last 25 years has been a cattle consultant in the Texas Longhorn cattle industry specializing in genetics, marketing & sales. Russell runs his own herd of Longhorns and manages over 600 head for a variety of clients.
Russell received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX and has held a Texas Real Estate License for many years.
After selling his real estate firm, Russell has served as a business and real estate consultant and investment manager. When Russell is not working, he loves to train horses, garden, and play with his grandkids.
