Dr. Jason Overman – Liberty, NC

Dr. Jason Overman is originally from Liberty, North Carolina. He has been an active member of the National Pygmy Goat Association for almost 30 years. He began showing goats in 1996 and began judging in 2000.
He graduated in 2004 with degrees in Animal Science and Nutrition from North Carolina State University. He continued to complete his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University in 2008.
During his time judging he has had the opportunity to judge in 30 USA states and has had the privilege of judging 7 USA National shows. He was honored to judge the first Australian Pygmy Goat National show in New South Wales, Australia in April, 2023.
Dr. Jason Overman is the medical director for a veterinary practice in northern Virginia. He enjoys traveling and building LEGO in his spare time.
